Atkins and Paleo diets are two of the popular diets. Both diets have their key factors that make each other succeed. They use the same concept to become a high-protein and low carbohydrate diet. However, the main difference in the Paleo versus Atkins diet question is: what is the purpose of each? The main purpose of the Paleo diet is not only to lose weight, but it is more a lifestyle choice. On the other hand, the Atkins diet is only used to lose weight and is not used for a lifetime commitment.

Secondly, the Atkins diet was broken down into four phases – one became an induction that led to four maintenance for life. It switches from the most stringent restrictions to lower and smaller. The new Atkins approach also allows a diet to adjust their diet plan to fit their personal body weight and the purpose of their fitness. The initial phase, the time and time to start fitness activities is between the ten ways that the diet can adjust the new Atkins diet.

Paleo diet is not broken into a phase. There are only modifications for people who are athletes who want to lose weight. Everyone basically followed the guidelines for eating the same food founded in the paleolithic age.

The type of food is permitted

Third, food allowed in each diet is another factor that contributes to the difference between the Paleo and Atkins diet. Paleo diet involves eating healthy food and releases foods that are not reused on the day of civilization hunter-collectors 25 to 50 thousand years ago. This eating habit prohibits using vegetable oil, legumes (nuts, peas and peanuts), artificial sweeteners, mostly dairy products and grains.

On the other hand, the Atkins plan recommends eating certain foods during different diet phases. Vegetable oil and artificial sweeteners are permitted. Diets can take legumes and grains in the third and fourth phase. It also encourages eating vegetables from the first phase, but fruits are not taken to the equation until the second phase.
